The judges worked hard to pick two winners for the First Annual Future Jewelry Designer Contest and the results are in!

And the winners are…. Briana Colon a 4th grade student in New Haven and Lindsey Flonc  a 4th grade student in Hamden.

Both contestants win the creation of their design in precious metals and gemstones to give to their mother’s for Mother’s Day!

The judges thought Briana’s ring was very creative with the open worked hearts.  It looks beautiful in gleaming sterling silver.

Lindsey’s pendant, the judges felt, was simple and elegant with the cut out flower design  in sterling silver set with a sapphire in a heart shaped setting with the inscription ‘I Heart You”.

Congratulations to both the winners!  Many thanks go to the teachers and the children who designed the many entries received.  You all did beautiful work.
